Tom ist ein sehr sympathischer Mensch und ein starker, aber auch sehr fairer Ringer, der - genau wie ich auch - sehr darauf bedacht ist, sein Gegenüber nicht zu verletzen.
Für ihn war es ein Experiment "jung gegen alt" - "Schnelligkeit + viel Kraft gegen Technik. Kraftmäßig konnte ich, besonders bei seinen Beinangriffen, nicht mithalten - bei der Technik hatte ich gewisse Vorteile. So entwicelte sich ein relativ ausgeglichener Kampf.
Da ich mich mit Tom auch außerhalb der Matte sehr gut unterhalten konnte - es gibt außerhalb des Ringens noch gemeinsame sportliche Interessen - möchte ich Tom uneingeschränkt jedem gern empfehlen.

Amazing guy who is really knowledgeable and really understands gutpunching. He was one of the first people I met up with years ago and left a lasting impression. He fortunately came back into town recently and it was just as great as I had remembered.

After chatting with John for a few months he arranged to visit me for a few days in Stornoway. He's a great guy, very strong (and hairy!!!!)and I enjoyed a few days of grappling fun with him. Very friendly, easy to get along with and it was a pleasure meeting him. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone looking for a sweaty fun session, I'd gladly welcome the opportunity again.

Fixed up a meet with Mark to box till the last man standing in front of a female ref at a London matroom. Despite a knee injury Mark fought well and took his punishment well with the cajoling from the ref adding to the atmosphere. Reliable and genuine.
