I live in the local area, Vancouver is next to Portland, so we've had a lot of local news coverage. The website involved was allfighters.com, not this one.
thanks - my mistake. andy also has corrected me. there may be a lesson here to watch out for taking too many head shots over a short period of time. but could be a freak think as well.
The news reporting that it was allfighters.com made a mistake. It was indeed allfighters.info, as admitted by admin himself at https://www.meetfighters.com/news/2012-01-01. Allfighters.com was just a dummy website used to get easy clicks from search engines. It didn't have any social features, chat, forums, directory, nothing. The mistake was understandable, as the ".info" part was really unusual in URLs, and the journalist didn't check the link properly. I always thought it was crazy to fight with MMA/NHB/Boxing rules in a recreational match like the ones we used to do here. I ignore anyone looking for these kind of fight, although I understand there is some risk involved with submission wrestling too, but they are far more manageable.
