TV wrestling can be quite the revelation for a 10-year-old. Is it real or isn't it? If it isn't, why are all those adults in the crowd acting as if it is? Maybe they simply want it to be real. Young guys like to wrestle and as we get older we want to act as if we were still as young as those guys we saw on TV.

I was born in 1963. Back then you believed wrestling was real, and I wrestled my brothers, cousins and friends as much as I could.
Wrestling my friends ended around 14 or so.
I remember watching the Dukes of Hazzard, when my friends talked about how hot Daisy was, I wanted to wrestle Bo and Luke.
I was so confused about my sexuality, I looked at every guy I saw as a potential opponent. It wasn't until I answered an ad in the Providence Phoenix about wrestling, that I realized I wasn't alone

how i wish to have a buddy-buddy who’s interested in wrestling like me :(

For me, it was my dad watching pro wrestling when I was a young kid. Watching burly furry & not perfect bodied men going at it in briefs style trunks stirred something in me that I didn’t understand at the time. Grew up with the old WWF wrestling & as we got cable TV came wrestling federations from different states and territories. When watching with my dad I had to point my “boy” downward in my underwear to keep from showing a hard on, but when everyone else was away on a Saturday afternoon- I’d watch wrestling & was able to jerk off to the hot men in all kinds of holds - head scissors got me going the most. To this day I watch old classic pro wrestling on YouTube & jerk away. Today’s wrestling does really nothing for me as it’s all talk & too fast action where in the good old days holds were held longer, but today’s crowd would find it boring- not me. I watch matches from the 50s through the early 90s.

Pro wrestling promoters always knew exactly what they were doing and had to realize there was a HUGE undercurrent of erotic fantasy happening in many fans (consciously and unconsciously). For me, this really kicked in in the late 70s / early 80s when ridiculously rough, cruel, sadistic and humiliating squash matches between roid monster heels and smaller (mostly no name) jobbers became a regular thing on Saturday mornings. All unfiltered for our young, eager minds to pick up on. We also had seen hot female bikini apartment house wrestling photo spreads in the mid 70's to really plant that erotic seed into our soon to be adolescent minds where - as the sadism, skimpy trunks and worked out bods of men's wrestling came into its own - many on the path to heterosexuality became Bis or full on gay for sure. :)
