BOXER'S RANT!
I am not a “Blogger.” I do not sit around all day and literate my opinion everyday for others to read and either agree or pass judgment on me. I am a writer. And every now and then something bothers me to no end that I feel a need to write about. So if you “feelin’ me” cool. If not, then that’s on you. This is simply my opinion and how I see things.
WRESTLERS who contact BOXERS for a fight. WTF?!?!?!? Can someone please explain this to me? I have profiles on a few sites. ALL OF THEM profusely state my DESIRE and PREFERENCE to STRICTLY Box and only meet OTHER guys who BOX for “REAL FIGHTS.” In fact at the end of ALL my profiles IT CLEARLY STATES “I DO NOT WRESTLE! SO DO NOT ASK!” SO! Can someone PLEASE tell me WHY I’m still being contacted by wrestlers asking me to fight? Are these wrestlers FUCKING STUPID?! Can they not read?! Are these wrestlers that bad that they can’t find anyone to beat up on so they ask a boxer? Are they getting some perverted pleasure out of challenging or asking a guy in another fight genre to battle?! Clearly it would not be an even fight. There are THOUSANDS of wrestlers out here in comparison to only a few hundred boxers. WHY THE FUCK are some of them asking a BOXER if he wants to fight?! I would love to hear from others on their thoughts on this.
Keep your guard up and come out punching

8/16/2012 5:37 AMNot trying to be an ass here, but maybe some of them just want to try boxing. I know I have had a couple boxers give me a small taste of boxing when I have asked, and I have enjoyed the experience. Just my thoughts...

Thanks for the comment Davey716, but no they wanted to wrestle me. They did not nor where they interested in boxing. They probably wanted a easy wrestle win or as a friend on another site put it - they just wanted to rub up against me.

They are probably blinded by the hotness of you, then, and unable to read your profile clearly....that's my guess. ;-)

Yes, that seems to be the general consensus. Still, I wish they would just say that and not hide with an odd attempt to wrestle me.

It does happen the other way round too. I don't box - but I have had a number of guys who want to box me and have a boxing gear fetish who message me. I tell them I'm not interested.
But then I have lost count of the guys who chat or message me and ask me questions, the answers to which are all on my profile.
And as for the guys who aren't really interested in wrestling as such, but something else first and foremost, well...
I think it's just one of the hazards of being on an internet website. It takes all sorts!

10/24/2012 3:00 AM*SIGH* I guess it was inevitable that a boxer would seek out a wrestler for a boxing match – the idiot. Still, I see what you're saying… But again… WTF?!?!? What is the purpose of taking the time to create a well detailed profile if people are not going to read it. Those of us seeking others put our best 'info' forward to attract the ones we want. Not those we have nothing in common with. Sure opposites attract but that's not what we're initially looking for. We want like-sport, like-interest, and like-minded.
Just further proof that people are driven by their libidos and not their cognitive minds. I'm sure many enjoy the attention but the more serious minded find it annoying.
As a solution when a guy contacts me for a wrestling match, I delete the msg and don’t even respond. If the sender is not going to take the time to read and comprehend my profile, then I as the recipient will not acknowledge his lack thereof with a response.

Lol. Sometimes I will say "read my profile, mate.". That gives me enough satisfaction and I don't really get annoyed. The world's a big place - and there's a place for the feckless, randy and stupid as well. :)
In my opinion....
