Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I much prefer to wrestle someone who is my size or a bit below in terms of height/weight. If they are taller and/or more muscular, I feel that it would be an unfair match. Same thing if someone who was shorter and/or thinner than me tried to take me on.
I'm not saying that I wouldn't do it with guys outside my height/weight range, but I feel that an even match is more satisfying. Just my $0.02 for what it's worth.
I think there are several categories the smaller under 150-160. The 200-210 short. The tall 200. The 260-270. And the over 300.
I think in that progression each one has a definately advantage if they are serious and some skill
150 lb would have a tough time pinning a 200 lb guy.
Height and weight can give a wrestler an advantage. But speed, skill, and determination can overcome size advantages. A heavy guy could just be heavy with few skills. A muscular guy would have an advantage, but would still need skills.
Me? Well, my skills and size leave a bit to be desired, so maybe I shouldn't say anything.
Big guys like to wrestle big men It’s slower and you can enjoy a heel vs heel match But wrestling a small nasty heel my heel persona disappears and I would job in a New York Minute And if he’s an Asian heel or a masked heel I’m done all my 6’4 280 lbs is there’s to dominate
