I agree about needing the will to fight or wrestle. It can be daunting when having your first match and especially if you go to an organised meet for the first time. Find the courage to do it and you'll not regret it.
I agree about the cardio IF you are having a full on competitive match but there are many ways to wrestle. Good cardio is not important in a gentle roll around or an oil wrestle.
My advice to a new wrestler is to give it a go and find what you like and what your fitness level will allow.

Secondly you will need to be relatively fit, don't really need to be super strong, but cardio is important.
