I run small group wrestling shows at the Grove Park Wrestling ring - typically two wrestlers and an audience of two to six people. We recently did a show featuring quite an aggressive pair of grapplers which went down very well.

If you are interested in either wrestling or viewing then please contact me directly.

I am also running weekly coaching sessions in pro-style (TUES 2pm) and if you are a pro-style wrestler and want to come to these please, again, contact me directly.

Oh watching an opponent being locked in the scissors with no way out and the victor laying back in front of a crowd smiling at ever squeeze.

Yeah, it's always a plus when you get an audience for your match! 👍

Very true. I guess I find it makes me up my game a little.

Though in a tough subs match, the rest of the world fades away.

Perhaps it depends on the type of wrestling you are doing?

Just imagine wrestling with your gear (singlet or trunks) up for stakes.

Stakes are high when you risk getting stripped in front of an audience.

Would you consider wrestling in a public setting with spectators?

If so, what type of venue would you prefer?

Imagine the excitement of a public match.

The glory of a win or the shame of a loss with the audience screaming for their favorite contestant.
