Good news

We are now fully licensed and can host a wrestling event!

So If you guys still want we can have a test drive This Thursday and then again on 17th as shown on the event listing that resl4top has kindly put!

No Cancellation this time!
Format is gonna be the same as discussed.

Nice work in getting it sorted out so quickly Jon. Sorry I can't make it this Thursday but I hope it goes well and I'm looking forward to joining in soon.

Yes unfortunately we were on time to get a license from the council - because yes it seems not you need a specific license to display boxing or wrestling in a bar. So we will aim to get this sorted asap.

Unfortunately due to some technical problems we won't able to have wrestling tomorrow night. We will work hard to solve issues for the 17th possibly but for now it is suspended until further notice.

I think 10 o'clock for a first "match" is fine. If anyone is there and they're new and interested, then that's probably a good time to take them through some basics of what to expect, and the importance of tapping, etc.

Hey guys so - talked to Eagle managers and they are good to have wrestling back provided

1. Safety first
2. Per arranged fights with Max 2-3 opponents (other can join to watch)
3. A responsability waiver is signed off

I'll confirm time schedule before end of the week depending on how many want to wrestle. I would say around 10pm as place it's quieter then usually...Unless prefer to wrestle when busier

From the previous experience I know that 10 pm was a bit late and people gave up, since it was on week eve.

Eagle opens at 9pm and usually empty then... So As Squashlad said if we to attract more people by word of mouth we need to have a little public...

I don't mind, but if the idea is to attract new guys to give wrestling a go, sometime slightly busy might be good.

Hi guys

I host the nights and quite keen to have some wrestling action. We still got the mats. As the format involves more things I would probably suggest that we have 1-2 matches planned ahead so they happen in allocated time - let's say for 1 hour in total. We can then leave the mats if there are more opponents that want to try it out on the night. The #Kit night runs weekly.

Maybe someone can help to put under the events Listing?

OK, great! I'll be there on 3 December and it'd be great to have some matches pre-arranged with you, iain2911, londonoriental and any other guys who want to wrestle that night. And hopefully we can then tempt more guys onto the mats!

The venue that used to host Grapple101 has started a new "kit" night which has been all types of sportswear... but it seems they are keen to get wrestlers on board, and maybe get some wrestling action going...
