Tonight, one day after another great fight, I am sitting at the computer and reflecting all the matches I had during the last 5 years. There were sixty of them.
I'm reading over all the recommendations I gave, as well as the ones I've received. I have the feeling it tells me a lot about me as a fighter - today and in the past.
In general, I can say I am a sporty guy. I really love the endorphines connected to any sport, I like to push my limits in the gym, I like to wrestle and I like also other physical activities. HOWEVER, now I find out that wrestling is really NOT JUST ANOTHER SPORT for me, although for a long time I thought so.
I used to say that I can do wrestling without any erotic component in it and it brings me the same pleasure. What a surprise: when I go through all the recommendations and I try to remember all the 60 guys I've met, I see the reallity is a bit different, though. :)
I REALLY LOVE WRESTLING NICE GUYS, that are strong enough but not much stronger than me, I love to enjoy the body to body contact with really-in-shape guys, I even love when my opponent is a little bit kind of jobber and if there is an erotic component in our match. However, I already know that I don't enjoy a fight with complete jobbers, neither with strong heels and alphas, belly guys, daddies or guys who don't simply have the energy and spark in their eyes. I'm sorry but I don't.
Wow, how interesting for me to say this "loud" and to understand it. It doesn't mean at all, that all my wrestling is just about sex. It is definitely not. I have my life long partner, a great fighter gioroma80 that I have met through this superb website 4 years ago, so I am definitely not trying to find a hook-up among wrestlers.
What I'm trying to say is probably quite obvious for most of the guys here. For me, wrestling is a great way how to enjoy the physical beauty of male body and the male strenght. It is a way how to express myself, including some of my fetishes, how to produce a load of the happiness hormones and how to enjoy myself with great guys. Of course, if there is once in a while the "happy ending", why not. ;)
INTENTIONALLY I'M SAYING "ENJOYING MYSELF WITH GREAT GUYS". I have met so many great guys here, and there are many new friendships existing just because of this site.
So I would like to tell you, guys - giroma80, razorfish, ferrero69t, Vlasta, galmuscle, Vice, FighterGuyy, th trooper, scrappyone, leanaussiemuscle, gigromeo, Andrea Fighter, sicwre88, brown diamond, slpt - meetings with you were among the best 15 matches out of the 60 I've done. I am so happy I could meet you and I really enjoyed our match at a maximum. THANK YOU! :*
My conclusion is the following. I'm not going to pretend there is no erotic content in wrestling for me. Myself, I feel like a more or less fit guy in the beginning of his 30'. I see that if the goal is to really enjoy the wrestling match, my opponent needs to be a nice person and he needs to be at least a bit physically attractive for me.
I already have in my mind the next blog entry - how to say no to wrestlers you don't want to meet. ;)
As a newbie, who to look for as a potential opponent? :)
When looking for another beginner as your wrestling date, you may think it is better as the match is going to be more even / balanced and it won't hurt so much! :D My experience says it really doesn't work like this. ;)
Meeting a skilled wrestler means meeting someone who:
1) has met many skilled and unskilled fighters before,
2) knows a bit how the fight is going on, what hurts, which hold can cause an injury etc.,
3) has reccomendations in profile you can read
4) is not afraid to meet other guys and usually it is easier to agree about a meeting,
5) probably is willing to coach you a bit and teach you some of his skills,
6) also was a beginner once
...
From my point of view, definitely do not be afraid of skilled wrestlers as a newbie! Many skilled wrestlers are happy to initiate a newbie to wrestling and invite them to "the club".
Enjoy! :)
